This Privacy Policy describes how Rackt.ai (“RACKT.AI,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the RACKT.AI iPhone app and this website. It is written to match how the app works today. It is not legal advice.

Who this covers

RACKT.AI is an iPhone training app. You can use it as an athlete for your own workouts, and you can optionally enable Trainer mode to coach clients. This site is a public informational site. We do not require an account to read these pages. The iPhone app uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports and Google Analytics for anonymous product-usage analytics (which screens and features people use). It does not collect Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. The website uses Google Analytics to understand traffic (pages viewed, referrers, device type, and approximate location). Neither the app nor this site uses advertising cookies or ads.

Where data is stored

App data is stored in Google Firebase for project rackt-ai-app:

• Firebase Authentication — your account, email, and Google or Apple sign-in identity
• Cloud Firestore — profile, gyms, equipment, workouts, session logs, trainer data, and related app content under your user ID
• Cloud Functions — including deleting your Firestore data after you delete your account
• Firebase AI Logic (Gemini) — used when you generate workouts, equipment suggestions, or Coach Me insights
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash and reliability reports
• Google Analytics — anonymous product interaction in the app, and traffic on this website

Information we collect

Data in the app is collected to run the product (accounts, workouts, coaching) and to keep it reliable (crash reports and product analytics). We do not use that data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not use advertising SDKs.

Account (Firebase Auth, Google, Apple)

You can create an account with:

• Email and password (Firebase Authentication)
• Google Sign-In
• Sign in with Apple

Depending on the method, that typically includes an email address, a user ID, and a display name from the sign-in provider. There is no guest or anonymous mode. Sign-in tokens are processed by Google or Apple when you choose those providers, then used to create or link your Firebase Auth user.

Height, weight, and age

You may enter height, weight, and an optional age in your profile. Age, when provided, must be 13 or older. These values are stored in Cloud Firestore with your profile and may be included in Gemini prompts when you generate workouts or Coach Me insights. They are not read from Apple Health or HealthKit.

Other profile and fitness data

You may also provide:

• Name
• Fitness level and training goals
• Measurement units and workout preferences
• Equipment and exercises (including optional YouTube demo links you add)
• Workouts, multi-week plans, session logs (sets, reps, weight, RPE, distance, time, notes), progress stats, and Coach Me insights

Gym addresses

If you enter a gym address (street, city, state, postal code, country), we store that address and the geocoded latitude and longitude in Cloud Firestore so we can show the gym in the app. When you create a workout, the app may request one-shot location permission to suggest a nearby gym. That GPS reading is used only for the suggestion and is not saved as a location history.

Camera and QR shares

The camera is used only to scan workout QR codes shared by other RACKT.AI users. We do not access your photo library, and the app does not upload photos.

If you share a workout or plan by QR, RACKT.AI stores a snapshot so another user can import a copy. Trainer invites also use QR. The person who scans gets their own copy; we do not keep a live feed of their device camera.

Trainer access

If you enable Trainer mode, the app stores your coaching library, facility links, client roster (display name, optional email, notes), and workouts you assign. A linked trainer can see the workouts and related session logs they assign to a client. Unlinked clients you track yourself stay on your trainer account until you delete them or your account.

Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

The iPhone app uses Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes or has a serious error, Google may receive information such as stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, and similar diagnostic data. We use this to find and fix bugs. Crash reports are not used for advertising.

App analytics (Google Analytics)

The iPhone app uses Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics) for anonymous product-usage analytics: product interaction such as screens opened and features used, plus device and app information. We use this to see which parts of the app are useful and to improve the product. Analytics events are not tied to your email address and are not used to show ads or to sell a profile of you. They are not HealthKit or Apple Health data.

We do not collect Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA). Because we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising, the app does not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Apple’s privacy manifest for RACKT.AI sets tracking to false.

App Store privacy labels

In Apple’s App Store privacy nutrition labels, in-app analytics is disclosed as product interaction / analytics data, used to improve the app. It is not email, not health or fitness data from Apple Health, and not an advertising identifier. Account, workout, and gym data you enter in the app are collected separately to run the product, as described elsewhere in this policy.

What we do not collect

• Apple Health / HealthKit data
• Photo library contents
• In-app purchases or payment card details (the app has no payments)
• Push notification tokens (the app does not use push messaging)
• Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA)
• Third-party advertising identifiers for tracking

Body metrics you type into the app (such as height and weight) are stored as part of your profile so workouts and insights can use them. That is in-app fitness data, not a connection to Apple Health.

How we use information

• Create and secure your account
• Provide gyms, equipment, workouts, logging, and progress
• Generate AI workouts, plans, and Coach Me insights
• Support Trainer mode and QR sharing
• Suggest a nearby gym when you ask the app to
• Respond if you email us
• Diagnose crashes and improve app reliability
• Understand anonymous product interaction in the app and traffic on this website

AI features (Gemini)

Workout generation, equipment suggestions, and Coach Me use Google Gemini through Firebase AI Logic. To produce a result, the app may send relevant context such as your goals, fitness level, optional age, height, weight, gym type and name, equipment list, generation preferences, and summaries of recent session history. We use that processing to provide the feature you requested, not to train a public advertising profile about you.

AI output is fitness guidance only. It is not medical advice and does not promise training results.

Processors and third parties

We use:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Firebase AI Logic, App Check, and Crashlytics to run and stabilize the app
• Google — Sign-In (if you choose it), Gemini for AI features, and Google Analytics in the iPhone app and on this website
• Apple — Sign in with Apple (if you choose it) and device integrity features used by App Check
• Map tiles and geocoding to display gym addresses you enter (for example OpenStreetMap-based tiles and Apple Maps if you open an address externally)

If you add a YouTube link to an exercise, opening it uses YouTube’s service under their terms and privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party ads in the app. We do use Google’s Crashlytics and Analytics SDKs for crashes and anonymous product-usage analytics, as described above. We do not collect IDFA, so we do not show an App Tracking Transparency prompt. Apple’s privacy manifest for RACKT.AI sets tracking (as Apple defines it) to false.

Account deletion

You can delete your account in the app: open Account and choose DELETE ACCOUNT. You will need to confirm and re-authenticate (password, Google, or Apple). That deletes your Firebase Authentication user. A Cloud Function then permanently deletes associated Cloud Firestore data for that user ID, including:

• Profile (name, height, weight, age, goals) and settings
• Gyms and gym addresses
• Equipment, exercises, workouts, plans, and session logs
• Progress stats and Coach Me insights
• Trainer library, roster, invites, and trainer/client links
• QR shared workout and plan snapshots you created

Deletion is permanent for that account’s Firestore data. A copy that another user already imported from your QR share may remain ontheir account; we do not reach into other users’ imported workouts. Crash reports and analytics events already sent to Google may remain in Crashlytics or Google Analytics for those products’ retention periods and are not fully removed by the in-app delete flow. We may retain information if required by law or to resolve a dispute.

If you cannot open the app, email support@getrackt.com from the address on the account and we will help you with deletion. See also Support.

Data retention

We keep account and workout data while your account exists so the app can function. After you delete your account, we delete that user data as described above. Crash reports are stored by Firebase Crashlytics. Anonymous in-app product analytics and website analytics are stored by Google Analytics for the retention period configured in that property. We may retain information if we are required to by law or to resolve a dispute.

Children

RACKT.AI is not directed at children under 13 and is not in Apple’s Kids Category. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• You can decline location or camera permission; those features will not work without it
• You can edit profile, gym, and workout data in the app
• You can disconnect Trainer mode / links and delete shared content you control
• You can delete your account as described above
• You can block or clear cookies in your browser, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out to stop website analytics
• App crash reports and anonymous in-app analytics are part of how the iPhone app runs. The app does not ask for tracking permission because it does not collect IDFA. Email support@getrackt.com if you have questions about that processing

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email support@getrackt.com to make a request. We will need enough information to verify it is your account.

This website

This site is static informational pages (home, privacy, terms, and support). It does not use an account or advertising cookies. It uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers and receive your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and how you reached the site. We use that to see traffic volume and which pages are useful. We do not use it to show ads or to sell a profile of you. Google’s processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
